Food processors and manufacturers should begin now to prepare their operations to meet these requirements, rather than waiting for them to come into full force. This paper recommends actions that food processors can take now to prepare for the full implementation of the law, including reviewing the effectiveness of their existing product inspection systems and their ability to provide the reporting data FSMA requires.
