Real-Time Plant Floor Data Information Tool
The software is one of the initial new offerings of the company's new Advanced Client Technology (ACT): a series of new multi-client access technologies and software tools designed to help companies seamlessly integrate critical, real-time plant floor data captured by FactorySuite and to the rest of their business enterprise operations.
More than an enterprise-wide telephony and messaging system, the software serves as an interactive extension of human-machine interface (HMI) software systems, turning any PC into a communications command center that can monitor the entire network 24/7, and delivering the right information to the right person at the right time. The software lets operators hear the details of an alarm and then resolve it via the telephone. It also intelligently vocalizes alarms over speakers, intercom systems, radios and telephones, and sends alphanumeric text messages and/or emails.
