Ralcorp Purchases Third Snack Business

Ralcorp Holdings, Inc. (St. Louis) has purchased Southern Roasted Nuts of Georgia, Inc., a private label and value brand snack nut operation located in Fitzgerald, GA. This is Ralcorp's third snack nut business to be added to the company's Snack Nuts operating segment of Nutcracker Brands/Flavor House.

Southern Roasted product lines consist of dry and oil roasted peanuts, cashews, and mixed nuts sold primarily under store brand labels. The company also sells snack nut products under the Southern Roasted Nuts label.

Ralcorp is a manufacturer of ready-to-eat and hot cereals, crackers and cookies.
