Pillsbury Recalls Cookie Dough with Undeclared Walnuts
The Pillsbury Company has again recalled their chocolate chip cookie refrigerated dough product because of the possibility of undeclared walnuts. The mislabeled product was recalled on September 8, but a small amount of product from a single Chicago customer warehouse was inadvertently released to some retail stores in Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, and Iowa. Only 18-oz refrigerated dough packages of Pillsbury Chocolate Chip Cookies bearing "For Best Results Use Before" NOV 18 J or "For Best Results Use Before" NOV 18 K are being recalled. The product only poses a hazard to walnut-sensitive individuals. The mislabeled product was available for purchase in some stores between September 16 and October 2, 1998.
