Oatrim is enzymatically modified (hydrolyzed) oat flour containing approximately 5% ß-glucan soluble fiber.
Quaker Oats Companynzymatically modified (hydrolyzed) oat flour containing approximately 5% ß-glucan (beta-glucan) soluble fiber. Treating oat flour with a food-grade enzyme produces two components (one water-soluble, one water-insoluble) that are physically separated, then dried. The dried water-soluble component is the product.

The product is unique in that it is the only fat replacer that naturally contains both a carbohydrate and a gum. Most of the natural oat cereal flavor is removed, making it suitable for a wide range of flavored food systems. The ß-glucan imparts a creaminess not present in other carbohydrate fat replacers. The product can be used as a partial or total replacement for fat.
