New Gourmet Biscuits, From Byrd

Byrd Cookie Co. (Savannah, GA) is introducing several new products to its line of gourmet snacks. The newly launched Artichoke Parmesan Biscuit, marketed under Byrd's Seckinger-Lee div., combines savory blends of artichokes and Parmesan cheese into a rich, bite-size cocktail biscuit. This newest snack is the latest addition to the Seckinger-Lee line of epicurean biscuits, which includes flavors such as Five Olive Parmesan, Jalapeno Cheese and New York Cheddar Cheese.
The company also is introducing Nosh Boxes—cigar-style snack boxes merging top selling flavors from Byrd's gourmet cookie line and their Seckinger-Lee line of cocktail cheese biscuits. The product available in seven gourmet flavors and one assortment box.
Byrd also has unveiled new collectible cookie tins for five of its best-selling gourmet cookie flavors. The company's signature square tins have been updated and redesigned into streamlined tins using rich, metallic colors and unique artwork. Each tin is wrapped in a signature metallic shade and features only a single embossed product image on the lid.
Other plans currently under development include a second Savannah Signature Series tin; a cookie tin line featuring Savannah-area historic landmarks. Development is also underway for new holiday cookie tins, which will be available for the 2000 holiday season.
