Lance, Inc. Announces Management Changes
Lance, Inc. (Charlotte, NC) is implementing changes in its top management positions.
Richard Tucker, who came to Lance almost three years ago as VP of operations, has been promoted to president of the Lance branded operations. In addition to manufacturing and logistics, his responsibilities now include sales, marketing and corporate technical services. Tucker will report to Paul Stroup, III, who remains president and CEO of the company.
According to Stroup, Tucker will provide strong leadership with a bias for performance and sense of urgency.
Lance also has promoted Phil Brooks to senior director of corporate technical services. In addition to his current duties, which include research and development and quality assurance, Brooks will assume responsibility for the procurement function creating a strong alignment for ingredient management and overall efficiency.
"Phil Brooks is a very versatile employee and possesses a wealth of knowledge in product formulation and food quality" said Stroup.
In previous employment with Fortune 500 companies, Brooks served as plant manager, quality control manager and lead food chemist. He will report to Richard Tucker in his new role as president of the Lance branded operations.
