KROHNE Showcases Newest BATCHFLUX And BATCHCONTROL Electromagnetic Flowmeters And OPTIMASS 1000 & 7000 Straight Tube Coriolis Mass Meters At Worldwide Food Expo 2009

KROHNE, Inc., a global technology leader in the development, manufacture and distribution of accurate, reliable and cost effective measuring instruments for the process industries, will showcase several of its products, including the BATCHFLUX electromagnetic flowmeter with BATCHCONTROL and OPTIMASS 1000 and 7000 Coriolis mass flowmeters, at the Worldwide Food Expo 2009, booth #S4927, October 28-31, at McCormick Place in Chicago.
The OPTIMASS 1000 and 7000 Coriolis mass flowmeters are designed for exceptional measurement capabilities with the flexibility and options of high-end meters, but at a competitive price. The OPTIMASS 1000 flowmeter features a close-coupled twin tube configuration with an optimized flow splitter, manufactured to be highly durable and capable of handling a wide range of flow rates and conditions. US production has drastically reduced delivery time of this product, and further enhanced the cost-effectiveness of the flowmeter. In addition, the move to US production last year solidified KROHNE's North American presence not only as a leader in the industry, but as a forward-moving company in Massachusetts.
Also on display will be the company's BATCHFLUX and BATCHCONTROL electromagnetic flowmeters. The 3A certified BATCHFLUX is the smallest flowmeter in the industry, offering a compact design ideal for tight space requirements. The BATCHFLUX includes a unique ceramic liner to meet the demands of CIP (Cleaning in Place) and SIP (Steaming in Place) processes. Enhancing accuracy, the ceramic liner ensures dimensional stability across the entire operational temperature range. Ensuring integrity during wash down procedures, the electronics are completely potted. The BATCHCONTROL features the same sensor with a digital communications output for simplified filling machine design.
