Interstate Bakeries Elects Senior VP and CFO

Interstate Bakeries Corp. (Kansas City, MO), the nation's largest baker and distributor of fresh branded bread and cake, has appointed Frank Coffey senior VP and CFO.

Coffey joined IBC in October 1998 through an acquisition of My Bread Baking Co. (New Bedford, MA). Prior to being named CFO for IBC, he had directed IBC's acquisition program as VP of Corporate Development. Before IBC, he was president and co-owner of My Bread Baking Co.

Interstate Bakeries Corp., through its subsidiary, Interstate Brands Corp., operates 67 bread and cake bakeries in the U.S.
