Insertion Turbine Flowmeters

The Hoffer HP Series insertion turbine flowmeters are designed for measuring clean liquids and gases in medium to large diameter pipes. Several versions are available including fixed, bi-directional, low pressure and high pressure adjustable.

Advantages of the insertion meter include the low pressure drop that can be realized and ease of installation. The insertion meter may be installed or removed from an active line without interrupting service. For applications in large pipe diameters, the cost of the insertion meter is substantially less than that of other flowmeter types. The device features wide flow turndown ranges for both liquids and gases with outstanding accuracy. Applications range from 4" to 72" pipe diameters with specials available upon request.
