Flavorite Forms Tech Service Team, Makes Sales and Marketing Changes
"These changes and additional staff in our technical services area will help us become even more customer and segment focused and enhance our new and existing product support and responsiveness," says Tom Haney, VP, technical services. "These steps are essential to continuing our 'customer-intimate' approach to business and building stronger partnerships with our customers."
Susie Wright, technical manager, will head up the effort for the foodservice segment with support from Debra Steward, senior food technologist. Kathi Dunn, technical manager, will lead the new product development effort for the industrial segment and will be supported by Stephanie Wilkerson, associate food technologist.
To assist technical services' industrial team, Flavorite has hired Angela Canada as a new associate food technologist. She will report to Dunn and assist with new product development in the industrial market. Canada has a masters degree in Food Science and has most recently worked for Tom's Food.
The company also announced that Libby Doerner, senior food technologist, has been appointed to a new position focused on existing products.This position was created to streamline the process of sampling existing ingredient products and to provide greater focus on existing product maintenance and optimization.
In the sales and marketing area, Flavorite has named Dave Zuspann director of marketing and new business development. The company also has promoted Terry Johnson to director of industrial sales. Finally, Melinda Queathem has been named national account executive for foodservice sales on the West Coast. She previously held an industrial sales position within the company.
