EVAL Company of America (EVALCA) is a subsidiary of Kuraray Co. Ltd. EVALCA markets ethylene vinyl alcohol (EVOH) copolymer resins in the United States, Canada, Mexico and in Central and South America under the EVAL trademark. EVAL® resins are characterized by their outstanding gas barrier properties, resistance to solvents, chemicals and hydro carbons and excellent barrier to odor and flavor permeance.

The key to this balance of characteristics is the combination of the proper co-polymerization ratio of ethylene to vinyl alcohol, the carefully selected degree of polymerization and the unique proprietary manufacturing process used in the production of EVAL® resins. These unique polymers are particularly suited for food, medical, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, agricultural and industrial packaging applications.
