Dings Magnetic Group

It all started in 1899. That's the year Myron Dings developed an advanced type of magnetic separator, founded his own company and named it Dings Magnetic Separator Co. During those early years, Dings hired Robert A. Manegold who became chief engineer in 1908 and a few years later purchased the company from Dings. In 1940 his son, Robert L. Manegold took over as general manager. The company prospered under Robert L. Manegold's direction and policy of diversification which in 1956 led to the development of a "Direct Acting" magnetic brake and the formation of the Dings Dynamics Group.
This tradition of excellence and innovation has continued for more than 100 years. All of us at Dings look forward to the next century with the challenges and opportunities it brings.
