Decorettes, Sprinkles and Toppers
The best selling and least expensive of these extruded products are Decorettes, which are 2mm in diameter. The smaller sprinkles are 1.5mm in diameter. These are both available in straight colors or with various color mixtures. Toppers, the gourmet item in the line, are also 1.5mm in diameter, but are sold in only three varieties: Rainbow #6, Carnival Mix and medium chocolate. Customized color matching and special product blends are available.
Non-Pareils
In addition to the rainbow of straight color and color blends, these small, colored sugar balls come in different sizes as well. Normally, they are the 12-14 size, but they can be specially ordered to be smaller (up to 16-18) or larger (down to a #5).
Colored Sugars
These colored sanding sugars are used in cookies, cupcakes and many other baked goods. For a larger sugar crystal, Con AA sugars are offered.
Shapes
This line of small, extruded holiday shapes include something for every holiday. Varieties include Christmas Trees, Heart Mix, Pumpkin Mix and Shamrock Mix. Most bakers choose the shapes blended with various mixtures of Decorettes to make an interesting visual mixture while containing costs.
Tableting
When bakers and food industry manufacturers prefer to use a 3-dimensional tableted shape rather than a small, extruded one, QA Products, Inc. has the capability to produce tablet shapes in-house. Most often these shapes are custom produced in a variety of colors and flavors. In addition, these shapes can be made using one shape or color at a time, and the tablets can be made harder or softer on request
Decorating Gels
These colors are clear, bright and do not fade during freeze-thaw cycles. The gels are packed in 5# plastic tubs.
Gold and Silver Dragees
These small silver and gold shiny balls are made with real silver and come in two sizes, the large #5 and smaller #10. They are often used on wedding cakes and other fancy baked goods.
