Ceridian Helps Kellogg Streamline Payroll, Tax Filing Services

Outsourcing Administrative Functions Allows Company to Focus on Core Competencies, Gain Efficiencies From Keebler Acquisition

Ceridian, a leading provider of human resource and workplace effectiveness solutions, announced an agreement with Kellogg Company (NYSE: K - news) for payroll and tax filing services through Ceridian Source 500 Payroll(TM). The multi-solution agreement also includes Ceridian SourceLink(TM), which interfaces between Source 500 and Kellogg's HR system, as well as W-2 processing, new hire reporting, project management and professional services.

``We wanted a payroll solution that would have the functionality to sustain future growth and the ability to interface with our current HR system,'' said Jeffrey M. Boromisa, vice president - corporate controller at Kellogg. ``Ceridian's total outsourcing solution and its track record with Keebler give us confidence they will help us meet our objectives.''

``We are delighted to help Kellogg reach its long-term goals for success by taking on the responsibility for payroll and tax filing services,'' said Tony Holcombe, president at Ceridian Employer/Employee Services. ``Keeping up with the compliance issues alone can cost companies large sums of money in wages and fees.''

Source 500 Payroll enables companies to maintain control of their payroll information while outsourcing the time-intensive tasks such as calculating payroll hours, exceptions and deductions, and printing payroll checks. SourceLink is an interface solution that allows companies to access the features and functionality of Source 500 while using their current product of choice to manage the human resource function.
