Cargill Acquires Venezuelan Food Company

Cargill and Bunge International Limited jointly announced that Cargill has acquired Grandes Molinos de Venezuela S.A. (Gramoven), Bunge's consumer foods subsidiary in Venezuela.

Included in the purchase is a flour mill, a pasta plant and an edible oils plant, all near Caracas.

Cargill is an international marketer, processor and distributor of agricultural and food products with more than 1,000 locations in 65 countries.
