Bestpack Packaging, Systems, Div. Of Future ,Commodities Intl., Inc.
In 1978, to service the sudden growth in demand for polypropylene (OPP) pressure sensitive tape, we developed a new line of carton sealing machines. Not satisfied with existing designs, we established an R&D department to develop new carton sealers to meet the emerging needs of the industry. In 1980, the very first uniform edge taping machine was introduced to answer the needs of clients needing more protection for their products against theft, dust and moisture. Not too long after, BestPack® further enhanced its engineeering reputation by introducing into the market the only fully automatic random edge carton sealer. To this day, we still enjoy the reputation of being the only manufacturer with a fully automatic random edge carton sealer. Presently, our carton sealers are marketed in 42 countries.
Responding to demands of its clients to supply integrated random packaging systems, in 1985 we ventured into integrated automation systems from heat shrink, to case forming, to case filling, to case sealing, strapping and palletizing.
BestPack's® main plant is in Taiwan and owns over 500,000 sq. feet of manufacturing space. To further serve its clients, an assembly plant was established in 1989 in Bangkok, Thailand to serve the Far East market. In 1984, we expanded our marketing department to California, U.S.A. to market packaging equipment primarily for the North and South American markets. Since1991, we have developed and successfully marketed our fully automatic high speed random tapers and fully automatic high speed fruit box tapers for potato, citrus and apples, using HSC boxes.
Today, BestPack® holds various patents in Taiwan, U.S.A., Great Britain, Canada, and China. Its mission is to continue servicing its clients with new and value-added packaging machines with qualities that clients over the years have depended on, the BestPack® quality packaging machine.
