In 1987, a Maleic Anhydride plant was brought on stream to supply the Malic Acid plant.
In 1988, an initiative was undertaken to co-produce Fumaric Acid together with Malic Acid. Eventually, in early 1994, additional Fumaric Acid production was brought on stream. Work is in progress to expand the Malic Acid and the Maleic Anhydride capacities.
