Since its founding in 1988, Action Systems, Inc. (ASI) has been dedicated to providing state-of-the-art Point of Sale software for the food-service industry. Our star product, RESTAURANT MANAGER POS, is a Windows-based touch-screen system installed throughout the United States and in many other countries.

One Integrated System: Restaurant Manager is ideal for a wide range of food-service businesses: Fine dining, Fast food, Home Delivery, Bars and Cafeterias. It especially suited for "mixed" environments. For example, a business offering table service, carryout, home delivery and cafeteria services all from the same location.

Intuitive and Easy to Use: Restaurant Manager was designed to be intuitive and easy to use. The user interacts with Restaurant Manager through function keys (touch buttons) and pop- up menus. All Restaurant Manager screens, menus and options are self-explanatory and require minimal training. Restaurant Manager includes comprehensive on-line help. The user simply presses the designated "HELP" key and detailed instructions appear in a special help window. The Restaurant Manager help feature is "context sensitive," which means that the help window displays information which is pertinent to the current operation.

Feature Rich: You name it, Restaurant Manager does it. Eight years of development make Restaurant Manager one of the most complete systems on the market. By going with Restaurant Manager you are benefiting from the savvy of countless Managers, Chefs and other food-service professionals who have contributed to the product over the years.

Secure: Restaurant Manager offers five levels of password protection. Passwords may be changed as often as desired and a special password configuration screen allows you to decide which password level to apply to each function. For added security, each employee is issued a magnetic stripe card (badge.) In order to access the system, they must first swipe their card. Magnetic card readers avoid the possibility of employees learning other employees' passwords.

PC Based (Open Architecture): Because Restaurant Manager runs on IBM PC compatibles, you benefit from LOW hardware and maintenance costs. Also, the manager's workstation can run other software applications such as a word processor, spreadsheet, or accounting system. These are just a few of RESTAURANT MANAGER's highlights.
