Acquisition Results in Name Change for Kayat Engineering

Kayat Engineering Corp. (Edgewater, FL) recently announced that the company has changed its name to Kisters Kayat Inc., resulting from the recent acquisition by Kisters Inc. (Erlanger, KY). Kisters is a fully owned subsidiary of the Germany company Kisters Maschinenbau GmbH.

Kayat Engineering designs and builds medium speed precision packaging equipment for shrink and tray wrapping. Kisters Inc. is a leader in high speed shrink and tray wrapping and wraparound packaging equipment. Together, Kisters Kayat will offer a full range of tray-shrink-wraparound packaging equipment with speeds from 10 to 120 cycles/minute.

The newly formed company will consolidate workforces at Kayat's Edgewater facility, with machinery building, service and sales support based there.
