Innovation

ACH Food Companies possesses the patented and proprietary technology to bead, dry blend, spray chill, spray dry, flake and powder a wide range of food ingredients. Our Trisun® High Stability Oil line is protected by patents on the seed and oil. We are introducing a new line of `No' and `Low' Trans shortenings under the Nutri-Lipids™ brand in addition to a new launch of GMO-free shortenings and oils. We also developed the first generation of PGME emulsifiers enabling the development of one-step cake mixes. Applications & Technical Expertise

Our Technical Applications Center in Memphis is one of the largest proprietary ingredient laboratories in the country. The Center is fully staffed with experienced scientists having expertise ranging from basic fats and oil applications to non-dairy cheeses and powders to bakery mixes to emulsifiers and stanol esters. We also have product development centers for grain-based products and for spray dried ingredients.

State of the Art Pilot Plant

The ACH Food Companies pilot plant in Memphis is the only fully equipped pilot scale refining and oil processing facility in the United States. This provides our customers with quick turn around on new and proprietary shortening and oil formulas at quantities that will scale up to meet their needs throughout product development and commercial launch. Our experience and expertise at the pilot plant goes beyond food applications into the sophisticated needs of the cosmetics industry and biodegradable fluids.
