The new model is designated as the "DPM" and is available in many sizes from 1/2 pint to 750 gallons working capacity.
The "DPM" is typically used for the vacuum mixing of high viscosity materials up to approx. 6 million cps. The Double Planetary Mixers contains two mixing blades that revolve on their own axis, as well as on a common axis, within the mix vessel. The mix pattern ensures that all materials in the vessel are intermixed within a few minutes.
Many optional features are available including three separate mix blade designs, jackets for heating or cooling, variable speed drives, sanitary construction and discharge systems to assist in the unloading of highly viscous materials. Shown in the attached photo is a 100 gallon model with a special raised base.
