The TMDL Tracking System database contains information on the waters listed under section 303(d) of the Clean Water Act. The purpose of the database is to allow EPA, the States/Territories/Tribes, and the public to obtain a more complete picture of how many waters have been listed and the causes of impairment. This version of the database includes information from all fifty-six 1998 lists as of March 23, 2000. Users can ask the Tracking System to find out which waters are listed in their State or Region and/or find out how many waters are listed for a certain pollutant (e.g., pathogens, metals).
