M&M/Mars signs lollipop distribution agreement

Snack food manufacturer M&M/Mars Inc. (Hackettstown, NJ) has signed an agreement with Spanish confectioner Chupa Chups S.A. to distribute and market Chupa Chups in the U.S. Distribution will begin Jan. 1, 2001.

Chupa Chupa is a round, hardy candy lollipop that comes in an array of flavors. Currently the lollipop is distributed in Toluca, Mexico; St. Petersburg, Russia; Bayonne, France; Shanghai, China; Barcelona and Asturias in Spain.
